LADIES NIGHT OUT

Every Friday night starting a t6:30
Fire jewelry under the stars
Make Raku jewelry: pendants earrings pins

Raku is a very old firing method that makes it possible to glaze and fire your work in under an hour. Known for its beautiful metallic and crackle decorative glazes, it is well-suited for jewelry. We provide all the materials you need. First select the pieces you want to glaze from our selection of textured and decorated shapes that are designed to be used for earrings, brooches, or pendants.  Paint on your choice of glazes. Then relax and watch the flames of the raku kiln do its work as you enjoy light refreshments and perhaps glaze your next piece.  Add findings to complete your jewelry and wear all the pieces you have made home!  Make reservations for 1-5 people for $40 each or 6-10 people at $35 each.  Make a night of it! Great as a mother's day gift!

Enjoy a light snack and BYOB and watch your jewelry be fired.

CLAY POT COOKERS (delicious, moist, healthy meals)
We call it never fail cooking! sample a recipe of a home baked one pot meal that is low calorie, low cost, moist and delicious. The clay cooker is a wonderful addition to your kitchen for making one-pot meals. They are a real time-saver, with the added bonus of very flavorful and tender results due to the cooking process. Better yet, it is great for those on a fat-conscious diet, since you can cook foods without fat, yet still get all that wonderful flavor. See a demo of how to make your own clay pot cooker, find out how to use and care for them, and sign up for additional classes to make one of your own! (return to top)
